Bryan Gonzalez, PhD, is a scientific software engineering generalist on the Mobile Brain/Body Imaging (MoBI) Core team within the Center for Strategic Data Initiatives (SDI) at the Child Mind Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in experimental psychology from New York University (NYU). Dr. Gonzalez completed his doctoral degree in cognitive neuroscience at Dartmouth College, where his research focused on computational models of social cognition and domain-general causal reasoning. He also served as a senior research coordinator in the Cohen Veterans’ Center at NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Gonzalez has experience working with several neuroscience research methodologies. He is interested in using cutting-edge technology to innovate the study of the brain and behavior. In his current position at SDI, he develops and maintains hardware and software infrastructures for data collection experiments. Dr. Gonzalez is passionate about understanding the neural mechanisms underlying complex cognition and behavior.
