Emilia Ninova, LMSW
Emilia Ninova, LMSW, is a social worker with the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. She conducts psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations with study participants.
Ms. Ninova is passionate about integrating research and clinical practice to improve outcomes for children and families. She has conducted research on cognitive, socio-emotional, and brain development in children, adolescents, and young adults at Columbia University and the University of California, Los Angeles. She also has clinical experience working from a trauma-informed perspective with children, families, and adults with mental health disorders. In addition, she has worked in a variety of settings, including an outpatient mental health clinic and supportive housing.
