Emily Swant, MA, is a psychology doctoral intern in the Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, and ADHD and Behavior Disorders Centers at the Child Mind Institute. She specializes in evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents with a range of disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, social and behavioral challenges, and trauma-related conditions.

Her previous experience includes co-facilitating an ADHD after-school group focused on emotion regulation and social skills at the Child Mind Institute and delivering one-on-one behavioral support in its Summer Program. Swant has also provided therapy, conducted diagnostic assessments with students, and delivered one-on-one behavioral support and crisis intervention to twice-exceptional students with ADHD and autism.

Swant is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic environment that supports the growth and well-being of children and adolescents. Grounded in empathy and guided by each client’s unique experiences, she strives to provide holistic care that empowers children and their families.
