Felicia Rosen
Felicia Rosen is a research assistant in the Autism Center at the Child Mind Institute. She graduated summa cum laude from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She received departmental honors and the Krawiec Scholar Award, and she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi.
While at Skidmore, Felicia was the lab manager and a research assistant for the TREAT lab, where she worked on studies including a randomized controlled trial looking at mindfulness-based interventions for problematic smartphone use. As a research assistant in the Cognition, Affect, and Treatment Attitudes lab, Felicia contributed to a study looking at OBGYN recognition of perinatal obsessive-compulsive disorder. Felicia was invited to present results of her senior honors thesis at the annual meeting of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. In addition, she received the Student Poster Award from the Clinical Psychologists at Liberal Arts Colleges SIG.
In addition to her research, Felicia has experience working with both children and adults in clinical settings. As a direct support professional with Saratoga Bridges, she worked with adults with developmental disabilities living in an intermediate care facility. She also supported children in an inpatient psychiatric unit as an intern at Four Winds Hospital in Saratoga Springs. As an undergraduate, she volunteered for the Child Mind Institute’s Brave Buddies program, where she worked with children with selective mutism. She plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
