Freymon Perez Paulino
Freymon Perez Paulino is a data analyst for the Mobile Brain/Body Imaging (MoBI) Core within the Center for Strategic Data Initiatives (SDI) at the Child Mind Institute. Freymon earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Hamilton College.
Freymon gained a wealth of clinical research experience as a research assistant at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Throughout his academic and professional journey, he has cultivated expertise in multiple domains including opioid use disorder, adherence to good clinical practice standards, animal research methodologies, pharmacogenetics, and more.
As a data analyst for MoBI, Freymon’s responsibilities include data handling and analysis, implementing and updating data quality assurance protocols, assisting with the maintenance of multimodal databases, and testing and evaluating data processing and feature extraction protocols. His varied research background has given him experience with a range of data modalities, which he hopes to combine with his computational expertise to bring about new insights — and ultimately new treatments — for neurodevelopmental disorders.
