Hannah Lasser
Hannah Lasser is a participant navigator for the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. Her responsibilities include tracking key data associated with study goals, scheduling appointments, and assisting families and guiding participants through visits as they complete all components of their evaluation.
Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychological science from the University of Vermont, with a double minor in sociology and human development and family studies. Prior to joining the Healthy Brain Network, she worked in direct client care serving children and teens struggling with issues affecting both mental health and behavioral patterns. In her first post-graduate position, Hannah worked as a behavior interventionist at a nonprofit organization in Vermont, utilizing the Applied Behavioral Analysis model, while assisting clients in an educational setting. She then worked as a residential counselor in a residential mental health facility for adolescents with varying needs of assistance, including individuals with extensive trauma histories. While in this position, Hannah incorporated therapeutic models such as the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency model (ARC), as well as trauma-informed care, to assist and coach residents in negotiating important developmental and life skills such as interpersonal relationships, activities of daily living, and emotional regulation.
Hannah’s passion lies in understanding the psychological effects of childhood trauma and employing best practices for early intervention and individualized treatment to improve outcomes for children and adolescents. Her goal is to continue her education by obtaining a Master’s of Social Work degree to positively affect the life trajectories of the clients she serves.
