Ivette Sanchez, LMFT
Ivette Sanchez, LMFT, is the associate program director for the Youth Mental Health Academy at the Child Mind Institute. Ivette holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University. She has leadership experience in the development and implementation of program structure, policies, and procedures to assure consistency across sites and within the department. Ivette has served in various positions with a large scope of responsibility. She began her career at San Gabriel Children’s Center as a therapist before becoming a program supervisor for Wraparound, which is a community service program run by the center. Ivette then went on to serve as the Mental Health Program Manager for SPIRITT Family Services’ intensive outpatient programs.
Ivette has worked in community mental health for more than 15 years, dedicating her professional career to working with populations that need intensive behavioral and healthcare support. But more than that, she has a passion for promoting mental health awareness, especially among children and adolescents in underserved communities.
