Jacqueline Rosenbaum

Social Work Intern, Anxiety Disorders Center
Child Mind Institute

Jacqueline Rosenbaum is a social work intern in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She specializes in therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Rosenbaum has experience working with various behavioral therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She has provided therapy, diagnostic assessments, and clinical evaluations at a group residence for adolescent men and received crisis management training while volunteering at Crisis Text Line, where she provided support to individuals of all ages. Prior to joining the MSW cohort at the Columbia School of Social Work, she had a career in publishing.

Rosenbaum is committed to supporting children and families as they navigate the successes and trials of a child’s development. She is dedicated to centering each client’s narrative and approaching their journeys with a sense of curiosity, empathy, and warmth. She tailors her treatment approach to each client using CBT- and DBT-based interventions through a social work lens, which allows her to connect with and understand her clients on a deeper level.
