Kait Kearney, MA
Kait Kearney, MA, is a former extern with the Healthy Brain Network and a clinical psychology doctoral student at City University of New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and her master’s degree in clinical psychology. Before beginning her doctoral program, Kait was a research assistant at NYU Langone’s Child Study Center in Dr. Regina’s Sullivan’s lab, exploring how early experiences can affect the developing brains of children. As a doctoral student, Kait works in Dr. Sarah O’Neill’s Attention and Neuropsychological Development lab and recently completed her thesis on the impact of prenatal exposure to environmental pollutants and trauma on the trajectories of children’s disruptive behaviors.
Kait has experience working clinically and academically with students who have neurodevelopmental disorders. As an extern she will assist in clinical assessment and research. In her free time, Kait enjoys hiking and traveling.
