Kyoungseob Byeon, PhD
Kyoungseob Byeon, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for the Developing Brain at the Child Mind Institute. With a background in electrical and computer engineering, Dr. Byeon brings a unique perspective to his research, which primarily involves identifying atypical patterns in the functional MRI data of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
In his role at the Child Mind Institute, Dr. Byeon utilizes his robust analytical skills to deepen our understanding of various psychiatric disorders that manifest during childhood and adolescence. Working under Dr. Ting Xu, he focuses on investigating the dynamic patterns of functional MRIs across the developmental trajectory of multiple species, with the goal of gaining insight into brain development and function.
