Laurie Hanich, PhD

Laurie Hanich, PhD, is a professor of Educational Psychology at Millersville University. Her research focuses on the development of mathematical cognition in children with learning disabilities and children’s achievement perceptions. She also serves as a grant reviewer for the Special Education Panel, Institute of Education Sciences.

Dr. Hanich earned her bachelor’s degree at Temple University. She went on to complete her master’s degree and PhD at the University of Delaware.
