Mary Isaac Cargill, MA, is a psychology extern in the Autism Center at the Child Mind Institute. She has experience treating disruptive behavioral disorders, emotion dysregulation, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and depression in individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Mary Isaac is trained in various evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Additionally, Mary Isaac has experience conducting diagnostic, neuropsychological, and educational assessments.

Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Mary Isaac trained in treating and assessing autism spectrum disorders at Spectrum Psychological Services. Mary Isaac’s research interests focus on identifying differences in the presentation of autism across different genders, sexualities, and cultures, and developing diagnostic materials that reflect those differences. She is also interested in understanding perceptions of autism to reduce the stigma surrounding the condition.
