Megan Neelley, MS, is a psychology extern in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a fourth-year clinical psychology doctoral candidate at Palo Alto University, specializing in pediatric behavioral healthcare. Megan is trained in evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youths with various mental health conditions, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. She also has extensive research experience studying evidence-based treatments for youth with chronic health conditions and comorbid mental health conditions.

Megan has provided therapy in school-based and community mental health settings. At the City of Fremont Youth and Family Services, she worked with youth facing difficult life circumstances, such as chronic illness and involvement with the juvenile justice system. She employed a family systems approach to engage the whole family in the therapeutic process. Megan has also spent the past two summers as a practicum student at Freedom Camp, an intensive treatment program for youth with selective mutism. Additionally, she spent a year in the Gronowski Center at Palo Alto University, where she provided therapy for adults with various mental health challenges and received training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT).

Megan is passionate about providing personalized evidence-based care to children and families.
