Olivia Austin, LMFT

Olivia Austin, LMFT, is a Professional Training Clinician for the Child Mind Institute in the San Francisco Bay Area. Olivia has six years of experience working in the mental health field as a trauma-informed clinician, specializing in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Olivia has extensive practice delivering evidence-based interventions to children in schools and residential settings, as well as through individual clinical work. With a background in clinical development and training, she feels passionate about mental health education for students, parents, and the community.

Before coming to the Child Mind Institute, Olivia worked as a clinical trainer and therapist in various mental health settings, including a start-up telehealth organization, an adolescent residential inpatient facility, as well as a school mental health counselor. Olivia received her BA In psychology from Loyola Marymount University and her MA in Clinical Psychology specializing in Child Studies from Antioch University Los Angeles. Olivia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
