
Rachel Ross, MS
Rachel Ross, MS, is a psychology extern in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the school psychology program at St. John’s University, where she also earned her master’s in school psychology. Ross has received training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and parent management training (PMT).
Ross has experience providing evidence-based treatments to children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, ADHD, and disruptive behavior disorders — and has delivered behavioral parent training. She’s provided both individual and group therapy in school and clinical settings, having also conducted psychoeducational evaluations for children and young adults with learning challenges and various social-emotional concerns. Additionally, she’s served as a counselor in the ADHD Summer Program at the Child Mind Institute.
Ross is passionate about tailoring interventions to each client’s unique strengths. She understands the importance of collaborating with families and educators to effectively support a child.
