Theo Swinford
Theo Swinford is an intake coordinator for the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. They received their bachelor’s degree in theology and religious studies at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham.
Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Theo taught sixth grade language arts at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Elementary School and fifth grade Latin and classics at BASIS Independent Brooklyn. They were also a customer care representative for NYC311, where they assisted New York City residents with inquiries about city government policies and services.
As an intake coordinator, Theo helps organize eligibility screening and scheduling for new participants. Passionate about supporting children’s mental health, they plan to pursue graduate study in the future.
