Marti Noxon is a TV and film writer first known for writing and producing Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We asked what she’d like to tell her younger self. “I think a lot of addiction is about trying to control our feelings. I had an addiction to starving, and I think a lot of my recovery came when I embraced the idea that you can’t control stuff. You just have to live and enjoy and be helpful and that stuff sorts itself out.”
