2022 Spring Luncheon

Wednesday, May 18, 2022 · 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
583 Park Avenue, New York, NY

Even in the best of times, trying to find solid parenting advice can feel like navigating a maze of confusing (and contradictory) information. But the pandemic has brought on an unprecedented set of challenges and, with them, seemingly unanswerable questions. Do I let my child have playdates? Is it safe to see Grandma? Will this ever end? Through it all, parents have been bombarded with advice, but it can be hard to make sense of so much information and even more difficult to figure out how to implement it at home.

Please join us as journalist Stephanie Ruhle leads a discussion with bestselling author Dr. Emily Oster and Dr. Jamie Howard, director of the Trauma and Resilience Service at the Child Mind Institute, on the benefits — and limits — of using data-driven strategies to cope with family anxiety.

All funds raised support the Child Mind Institute’s efforts to improve mental health care for children and families through clinical care, research and public education.
