World Science Festival Day of Discovery at the South Shore YMCA

Walk on water. Blast balls into orbit. Defy gravity. The World Science Festival and Con Edison invite people of all ages to explore City of Science, a buzzing mini-metropolis of action and fun. The wondrous properties of science, technology, engineering, and math come to life with interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities. Thousands have already enjoyed the mind-blowing demonstrations and experiments in four out of New York City’s five boroughs, and Staten Island is up next. This FREE event is open to all ages.

Child Mind Institute Healthy Brain Network staff will be on hand to assist with the Brain Bank (Human, sheep, rat, mouse, brain block – fish, frog, snake, pigeon, rabbit) and Sheep Brain Dissection.
