Three words that some kids love and others dread: back to school. Even for kids who enjoy learning, saying goodbye to summer vacation and starting a new school year can bring about worries and challenges. Fortunately, there are things that you can do to help prepare your kids for a successful school year.

This week on childmind.org, we round up resources on how parents can make the most of back-to-school time –– things like how to gracefully ease back into a homework routine and organizational hacks for kids who struggle with executive functioning. Also, we have tips on how to motivate your child to care about school and how to talk to kids who are really worried.
