The Youth Mental Health Hub starts with a conversation. Thanks for being part of it.
We’re at SXSW London with Wellcome because children’s mental health is a global question, and every kid, everywhere, deserves an answer.
Who We Are
The Child Mind Institute is an independent nonprofit transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders. Children’s mental health is a global issue, and we’re working globally to address it, with programs and partners in Brazil, Greece, South Africa, and fellows around the world.
I Support Youth Mental Health Because?
The conversation at SXSW London doesn’t end there. Share your why, and help us keep it going with two ways to share:
A ready-to-post graphic with space for your why. Perfect for Instagram Stories — add your answer with the text tool.
A simple graphic that says what we all believe: every kid deserves to be a kid. Download it, post it to your feed, your story, your LinkedIn.
Suggested caption:
“Every kid deserves to be a kid. Supporting @childmindinstitute and @wellcometrust at #SXSWLondon — and the work to make sure every kid, everywhere, gets the support they deserve.”
What We Do
A few of the ways we’re already reaching kids and families.
Find information to help you support children who are struggling with mental health, behavior or learning challenges.
By answering a few simple questions about your child’s behaviors, you’ll receive a list of associated psychiatric or learning disorders.
A digital journaling app created by experts at the Child Mind Institute to support the mental health and emotional well-being of teens and young adults.
A digital space for teens, by teens — honest, judgment-free mental health content from people who get it.
We work to expand access to culturally appropriate training, resources, and treatment for young people worldwide.
We advance children’s mental health through compassionate care, revolutionary science, and wide-reaching public education.
Our Global Network
The SNF Global Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, works in Brazil, Greece, and South Africa, with fellows in countries including Pakistan, Nigeria, India, Jordan, Burundi, and Mozambique.
Together with SNF, we’re furthering large-scale, sustained, and collaborative investment to help close the global mental health gap for children and adolescents.
Our 2026 initiatives are advancing global child and adolescent mental health through innovative research, workforce training, and youth-led international collaboration.
Life-changing opportunities that empower individuals to make a meaningful impact in their communities through research, clinical care, and communication.
