Alexandra Levine, MS, CCC-SLP, is a member of the Clinical Advisory Council at the Child Mind Institute. Levine is a licensed speech-language pathologist with nearly fifteen years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders. She is the founder and director of Levine Language and Learning, a private practice specializing in comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individual therapy, and professional consultations for families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams.
Formerly, Levine spent nearly eight years as part of the Learning and Development Center at the Child Mind Institute, where she conducted comprehensive assessments and provided targeted intervention for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her clinical expertise is on language development and disorders, language-based learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), social pragmatic communication challenges, and communication challenges related to other neurodevelopmental profiles.
Levine is particularly skilled in understanding the interplay between cognition, language, learning, and social-emotional functioning. Her approach is both sophisticated and deeply compassionate, blending expertise with real-world practicality. She believes that communication is the key to connection and works closely with families to provide them with the tools they need to thrive in school, friendships, and beyond.
