Erica Hutchins Coe
Erica Hutchins Coe is a partner at McKinsey & Company, as well as the co-founder and global executive director of the McKinsey Health Institute (MHI) — a global, nonprofit-generating organization within the firm that’s committed to adding years to life and life to years. Coe has spent close to 20 years working across public, private, and social sectors, with a focus on a holistic approach to care.
In her current role, Coe leads efforts to advance physical, mental, social, and spiritual health around the world. Under her leadership, MHI convenes leaders, advances research, creates and promotes Open Access data assets, and stimulates investment and innovation. This is all done in collaboration with a robust network of organizations worldwide.
Before her work at McKinsey, Coe worked at a boutique healthcare strategy consultancy in New York. She also previously collaborated on clinical trial research and assisted in the management of a mental health-focused nonprofit at Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, she worked for the Carter Center Mental Health Program in Atlanta.
Coe has previously served on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in New York City. And she currently sits on the board of Fountain House. She is committed to inspiring people around the world to be better mental health advocates.
