Gabrielle A. Marton, PsyD, is an associate psychologist in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. Her clinical work has focused on providing evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health disorders, with a specialized interest in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders. She has experience treating generalized anxiety, social anxiety, separation anxiety, phobias, agoraphobia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder in children and adolescents. Additionally, Dr. Marton has provided treatment for children and adolescents with a variety of other disorders including ADHD, body dysmorphia, depression, and intermittent explosive disorder.
Dr. Marton has been trained in implementing various evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent management training, social skills training, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). She also has experience working in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health centers, and schools within a multidisciplinary team. Dr. Marton completed her APA-accredited internship at the Village for Families and Children, providing individualized child and adolescent therapy, play therapy, and group therapy to underserved children and adolescents in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Marton is passionate about providing collaborative, individualized care to children, adolescents, and their families to help them reach their goals.
