Jayme Murakami, LMFT, is a direct service clinician with the Child Mind Institute’s School and Community Programs team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jayme has worked in the mental health field, schools and communities, as a trauma-informed therapist, with youth, families and adults. Jayme has experience implementing evidence-based interventions and a holistic approach focusing on the mind-body-spirit connection. Jayme is passionate about normalizing mental health and empowering others in finding, elevating and sharing their voices and stories.

Jayme’s clinical experience includes individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults at a mental health start-up, addressing student’s educational, behavioral and mental health needs through individual, family and group therapy at a community Non-Public School and being the principal member of a wraparound team providing community based therapeutic services and case management for individuals and families. Jayme previously served children with autism spectrum disorder providing Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy. Jayme is committed to increasing equitable access of mental health care within education and underserved communities.
