Joanna Lai, MD, is the Adolescent Health and Well-Being team lead within UNICEF’s Global Health Practice. Dr. Lai’s work focuses on supporting governments to strengthen and scale programs for adolescents across health, education, and community systems. Her expertise includes adolescent-responsive services, school health, mental health promotion, prevention and care, and cross-sectoral action to improve health and well-being outcomes for young people.
