Katherine Prudente, RDT, LCAT
Katherine Prudente, RDT, LCAT, is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist specializing in drama therapy and psychotherapy.
Katherine maintains a private practice in New York City specializing in individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. She is also the Upper School Dean of Students at a K-12 independent day school in New York City.
For 10 years, Katherine was a Program Manager at Hallways, a program dedicated to preventing high-risk behaviors through social-emotional learning in high-achieving independent schools. She has worked in over 30 independent schools throughout the New York City Tri-State area.
Katherine received her Master’s Degree in Drama Therapy from New York University in 2006. Katherine is a nationally Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) by the North American Drama Therapy Association. She has received in-depth psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center.
