Katherine maintains a private practice in New York City specializing in individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Katherine’s focus is on anxiety and depression, surviving childhood trauma, navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, and assimilation/acculturation of racial minorities, especially with Asian Americans.

In addition to her private practice, for ten years, Katherine was a Program Manager at Hallways, a program dedicated to preventing high-risk behaviors through social-emotional learning in high-achieving independent schools. She has worked in over 30 independent schools throughout the New York City Tri-State area.

Currently, she is the Assistant Head of Upper School for Student Life at a K-12 Independent Day School in New York City.

Katherine received her Master’s Degree in Drama Therapy from New York University in 2006. Katherine is a nationally Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) by the North American Drama Therapy Association. She has received in-depth psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center.
