Kimberly Morgenbesser is a social work intern with the Healthy Brain Network. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in child and family studies at Syracuse University. Kimberly is currently working toward a master’s degree in social work at New York University. Prior to attending NYU, Kimberly worked for eight years at the Rebecca School, a private school in Manhattan for children with developmental delays. There, she gained experience working with children with mental illnesses as well as their families. Ultimately, her work there inspired her to become a social worker. Kimberly hopes to continue working with children with special needs and their families. She is excited to join the Healthy Brain Network and have the opportunity to be part of a major research study.
