Kyle MacDonald, MS
Kyle Macdonald, MS, is a psychology extern at the Child Mind Institute’s Healthy Brain Network. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the school psychology program at St. John’s University, where he also obtained a master’s degree in school psychology. Kyle specializes in conducting psychological assessments and providing therapeutic interventions for individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues.
Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Kyle provided therapy, comprehensive assessments, and consultation services in outpatient clinical and school settings. Kyle uses cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and speech evaluations to ensure tailored and comprehensive care. His approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and culturally sensitive interventions to foster a strong rapport with clients.
Kyle views psychological assessment as a collaborative journey, enabling clients to understand their strengths and challenges, supporting more effective interventions and improving well-being. He is dedicated to creating an empathic and secure environment, ensuring that each assessment meets the unique needs of every individual.
