Lauren Aronson, LCSW, is a social worker on the School and Community Programs team at the Child Mind Institute. Lauren has experience delivering evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and social-emotional curricula such as Second Step in both school and outpatient settings. She also has experience collaborating with teachers, parents and fellow clinicians to promote students’ social-emotional growth. Lauren has worked with children and adolescents with a wide range of diagnoses including post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, autism, and disruptive behavior disorders.

Lauren has an interest in supporting children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, and she is committed to expanding access to trauma-informed care in underserved communities and schools. She is passionate about supporting children and families from marginalized communities both in and outside of the classroom, and about emphasizing the importance of addressing the emotional and behavioral needs of students in schools.
