Lauren Hendrix is a clinical research coordinator for the Data Assessment, Refinement, and Testing (DART) team within the Center for Strategic Data Initiatives (SDI) at the Child Mind Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in cognitive science with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania.

Lauren’s interests include translational research designed to support developmental and mental health disorders. Her previous experience includes early detection of autism spectrum disorder, memory retraining for children following traumatic brain injury, and neuropsychological assessments of adolescents and adults with neurological disorders, including ADHD, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. She also has extensive knowledge of clinical trials, project coordination, database management, and research software/platforms like REDCap, SPSS, R Studio, E-Prime, and Experiment Builder. She enjoys working cross-collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals. Through her work at the Child Mind Institute, including the Next Generation Digital Therapeutics (NGDT) program, she hopes to expand her knowledge of scientific approaches to the development and evaluation of therapeutic and diagnostic tools.
