Lei Ai is the neuroimaging data analyst (NDA) in the Center for the Developing Brain at the Child Mind Institute, where he primarily oversees the collection, organization, quality assurance and sharing of EEG, fMRI and eye-tracking data obtained through CMI studies. He works collaboratively to develop neuroimaging research project plans and implement project protocols and operational plans.

During his doctoral studies, Dr. Ai was involved in several research projects studying spontaneous brain oscillations on sensory perception using EEG, and fast event-related optical signals. His dissertation focused on the effect of spontaneous brain alpha oscillations on weak touch perception and multisensory integration between touch and vision.
