Marc Shuldiner, PsyD

Marc Shuldiner, PsyD, is a psychologist and training coordinator in the Mood Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. For over ten years, Dr. Shuldiner has worked in evidence-based treatment with children, adolescents, and adults who have mood and anxiety disorders as well as co-occurring substance and alcohol use disorders. He also helps their family members learn skills to encourage them to make positive life changes. Dr. Shuldiner has received specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and mood disorders as well as exposure response prevention (ERP) for OCD. Additionally, he has expertise in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness, family systems, and insight-oriented approaches.

Dr. Shuldiner presents at schools and national conferences on topics such as substance use, anxiety and mood disorders, and parenting. He is licensed in New York and Connecticut, and is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).

Dr. Shuldiner is committed to the use of empirically supported interventions to help people change problematic compulsive behaviors and adopt health-promoting routines.
