Mary McKernan Mckay, MSW, PhD

Mary McKernan Mckay, PhD, is a social worker, researcher, and Director of the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at NYU. Before that, she served as the head of the Mental Health Services Research Division at Mount Sinai.

She has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles on mental and behavioral health, HIV/ AIDS prevention and behavior modification, and other urban health issues. She is a member of New York State’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Oversight Panel.
