Minna Park, MS, CCC-SLP
Contact
Minna Park, MS, CCC-SLP, is a senior speech-language pathologist with the Gund Learning and Diagnostic Center at the Child Mind Institute. She brings eight years of clinical experience evaluating and treating children and adolescents with a broad range of communication and feeding challenges, including autism spectrum disorder, language disorder, learning disabilities, childhood-onset fluency disorder, social communication differences, and speech sound disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and pediatric feeding disorder (PFD).
Park’s clinical approach is holistic, child-centered, and culturally responsive. She integrates evidence-based methodologies such as the Social Thinking® framework, the SOS Approach to Feeding, PROMPT, and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) to support both communication development and the social-emotional well-being of each child.
Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Park provided evaluation and treatment services at the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), where she worked with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive diagnostic assessments and individualized care. She has extensive experience leading both individual and group-based social cognitive therapy using the Social Thinking curriculum to foster social connection, executive functioning, perspective-taking, and problem-solving skills.
As a trilingual English–Korean–Spanish speaker, Park brings a global perspective and a strong foundation in cross-cultural communication. She is deeply committed to serving diverse populations with linguistic and cultural sensitivity, and to creating inclusive environments for every child and family she supports.
