Nicole Ramirez, MS

Nicole Ramirez, PsyD, is an associate psychologist in the Autism Center at the Child Mind Institute. Dr. Ramirez treats children, adolescents, and families with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, anxiety, and co-occurring mental health needs. She has a particular interest in evidence-based, family-centered care that helps children build skills and confidence across home, school, and community settings.

Dr. Ramirez has trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, social skills training, and positive psychology interventions in individual and group formats, autism diagnostic evaluations, psychoeducational and psychological assessment, behavioral intervention planning, school consultation, and parent training interventions. Across school, clinic, and research settings, she has worked closely with youth, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to better understand each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Dr. Ramirez’s research, teaching, and community engagement reflect a strong commitment to parent empowerment, family involvement, and increasing access to effective supports for children with developmental and behavioral challenges. At the Child Mind Institute, she is especially interested in helping children strengthen social connections, develop emotional regulation skills, and thrive in the environments that matter most to them.
