Peter Raucci is the Program Director of Global Fellowships at the Child Mind Institute, where he is committed to advancing the organization’s mission of supporting child and adolescent mental health on a global scale. In this role, Peter leverages his extensive experience in higher education to enhance the impact of fellowship programs aimed at fostering leadership and innovation in child and adolescent mental health.

Peter has been a dedicated professional in the nonprofit education sector since 2005. At the Institute of International Education, he contributed to prestigious programs including the U.S. and Foreign Fulbright Programs, Schwarzman Scholars, and key initiatives with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Education of Brazil. His work in these areas underscores his commitment to global education and cross-cultural collaboration.

Peter’s leadership experience is further exemplified by his tenure as Associate Vice President for Career Programs at The Posse Foundation, where he led a team focused on propelling college students and alumni into leadership positions in the workforce. His strategic direction and support have been instrumental in shaping the careers of many young professionals.

Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and linguistics from New York University and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York. He also studied abroad at the University of Iceland, an experience which enriched his global perspective.
