About the School and Community Programs

School and Community Programs at the Child Mind Institute partners with K-12 school
communities to provide evidence-based mental health support, fostering resilience and
well-being through school-based clinical services and professional training for educators
and mental health staff. Our services are tailored to each school’s Multi-Tiered System of
Supports (MTSS) and aligned with district strategic priorities, including SEL, traumainformed practices, and equity in education.

The professional training team at the Child Mind Institute is a dedicated group of
professionals committed to expanding access to high-quality mental health support for
students, educators, and families. Our clinicians empower students with skills to cultivate
self-awareness, manage stress, regulate emotions, and enhance focus. These short-term
interventions, offered through individual or group treatment, help students develop present moment awareness and adaptive strategies to support their growth and success in both school and life.
