About the Event

Our kids are stressed out, and mental health challenges are on the rise. Award-winning author Donna Jackson Nakazawa joins the Child Mind Institute to share her insights into the causes of this pervasive stress, how it can derail healthy emotional development and — most importantly — how strong family bonds and community connections can help kids thrive despite the challenges.

This year’s Fall Luncheon features Donna Jackson Nakazawa as she discusses her book Girls on the Brink: Helping Our Daughters Thrive in an Era of Increased Anxiety, Depression, and Social Media.
