There’s a growing concern over the state of mental health in the United States. The U.S. surgeon general continues to call attention to the growing national youth mental health crisis. And yet, researchers and policymakers are without reliable data to assess the potential impacts — or develop appropriate responses. Using advanced technology like AI and machine learning, researchers at the Child Mind Institute are conducting rigorous epidemiologic studies to identify trends and effective interventions. Using our research findings, we will work alongside policymakers to develop evidence-based strategies and directly inform mental health policies — benefiting both individuals and communities.
