Anne Welsh McNulty

Anne Welsh McNulty has served on the board of the Child Mind Institute since 2011. She is the co-founder and president of the McNulty Foundation, which invests in elevating entrepreneurial leaders and nurturing promising students. A trailblazer for women in finance, she was a managing director of Goldman Sachs and a senior executive of the Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Strategies Group.

In honor of her late husband, she established the John P. McNulty Prize, which celebrates courageous leaders answering the call to action in their communities. She founded the McNulty Scholars programs at St. Joseph’s University and Hunter College, which propel young women to lead in STEM fields. She also established the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership at Villanova University and the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton.

McNulty serves on the board of trustees of the Aspen Institute and on the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board. She is a former trustee of Villanova University, a member of the advisory council for Harvard Kennedy School’s Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government, and a member of the advisory council for Ashesi University. She is on the board of trustees of NCH Healthcare in Naples, Florida, and the board of trustees of the American Academy in Rome.
