Linnea Roberts
Linnea Roberts is vice chair of the board of the Child Mind Institute, which she joined in 2014. She is a firm believer that women-led businesses are changing the world for the better, so she launched GingerBread Capital in 2016 to build and invest in women’s entrepreneurial success and encourage other women to do the same. After a successful career in investment banking, she retired from Goldman Sachs as a managing partner in the technology sector. She also served as Goldman’s diversity ambassador to recruit, retain, and promote more women into leadership positions in the firm and within the finance industry. Roberts serves on the board of the Ravenswood Education Foundation, is a member and former co-chair of the New York Advisory Board for Teach for America, and is an elected trustee at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. With her husband, George, she is also a trustee of the Roberts Foundation, which supports education and poverty alleviation programs in the San Francisco Bay area. She mentors women pursuing financial careers through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she received an MBA in finance. She also holds a BA in business administration and management from Valparaiso University.
