Pamela Redmon

Chief Marketing Officer
Child Mind Institute

Pamela Redmon, Chief Marketing Officer for the Child Mind Institute, is a seasoned executive with expertise in communications, marketing, and branding. Pamela joins us with over two decades of agency and industry experience, which she will use to increase our brand awareness and lead our strategic vision in marketing and communications. She will work closely with our development team to grow our digital fundraising and small donor programs, as well as develop partnerships with for-profit institutions.

As the former senior vice president/chief communications and marketing officer at Share Our Strength, Pamela spearheaded the vision to rebrand the organization for the first time in its 40-year history. In addition, she enhanced the strategic direction of the organization’s marquee marketing and fundraising campaign, No Kid Hungry, by incorporating strength-based messaging and asset-framing to negate stereotypes and stigma related to families living with hunger and poverty. She also served as the senior director of strategy at the Partnership for a Healthier America, the non-profit supporting former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! campaign. There, she expanded the organization’s approach to childhood obesity prevention.

Pamela has also been an executive leader in some of the largest public relations and advertising agencies in the country. She served as the vice president of Federal Health at Edelman Public Relations and the vice president of Social Marketing at Ogilvy. In each role, she directed national public health marketing and communications campaigns for several federal government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and a variety of state health departments and private sector organizations.

As a dedicated leader for community service, Pamela is a member of the Board of Trustees for Paul Public Charter School and Girls Inc. of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
