Ram Sundaram
Ram Sundaram has served on the board of the Child Mind Institute since 2012 and was co-chair from 2019 to 2022. He spent two decades at Goldman Sachs before retiring as partner, managing director, and head of currencies and emerging markets in 2021. His philanthropic leadership includes previously serving as a trustee of the Eagle Hill School, which provides intensive instruction to children with learning differences and prepares them to return to the educational mainstream, as well as a board member of South Asian Youth Action (SAYA), a youth development organization providing free, year-round programming to underserved New York City youth. Sundaram received a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras and an MBA from the University of Rochester. He lives in New York City with his wife Preethi Krishna, a fellow board member of the Child Mind Institute, and their two children.
