Child Mind Institute Names Mimi Corcoran as New Executive Director
NEW YORK, NY – The Child Mind Institute today announced that Mimi Corcoran, a respected nonprofit executive and advocate for children, has been named the organization’s new executive director. In this role, she will help shape and guide the organization’s fundraising efforts, partnership strategy, and overall institutional strategy.
Corcoran brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience to her position at the Child Mind Institute, much of it focused on improving the lives of children and expanding their opportunity for success. This includes roles as director of the Special Fund for Poverty Alleviation at George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, president and CEO of the National Center for Learning Disabilities, and executive director of the Beginning with Children Foundation.
