To make the list, a researcher must produce multiple papers that rank in the top 1% by citations within their field. Dr. Milham is one of only 225 researchers named on the 2022 list for Neuroscience and Behavior. According to his Clarivate profile, more than 20,000 articles have cited his publications over 30,000 times. Dr. Milham has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles and received over $30,000,000 in federal funding. His work is key to the success of the Child Mind Institute’s Science division. It is currently ranked within the top third of all organizations receiving funding from the National Institutes of Health.
