About the Event
This year’s Child Mind Institute annual Fall Luncheon featured best-selling author Dr. Ann-Louise Lockhart as we explored one of today’s most relevant topics – The Power of Connection: Parenting in the Digital Age.
Dr. Ann-Louise Lockhart engaged in an insightful conversation with Dr. Omar Gudiño of the Child Mind Institute and our moderator Dr. Harold Koplewicz.

All donations raised through the 2026 Fall Luncheon will support the Child Mind Institute’s efforts to improve the mental health of children and families through clinical care, science, and public education.
$25,000
Delivers an 8-week mental health curriculum to 125 students in under-resourced schools, helping them build mental health fitness skills.
$15,000
Provides comprehensive mental health and learning evaluations for two children through our Healthy Brain Network study, including information required to request an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) at school.
$10,000
Supports five children’s participation in our summer program for ADHD and behavioral, learning, or social issues.
$5,000
Supports two children’s participation in our Social Anxiety Groups, where they learn coping skills to manage anxiety and practice interacting in a group setting.
$1,000
Supports the development of children’s mental health resources for educators and families, available for free in English and Spanish on childmind.org.
$500
Helps maintain trustworthy, accessible tools for parents, like our free online Symptom Checker.
$300
Provides four educators with workshops that strengthen their own well-being and equip them with tools to support their students’ mental health.
*If you wish to give through a donor-advised fund (DAF), you may do so by making a fully tax-deductible donation to support the event. Please note that IRS regulations prohibit the use of DAFs to pay for event tickets or tables that include goods or benefits. If you plan to attend the event, the cost of those benefits must be paid separately.
