Children and teens with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) find it unusually difficult to concentrate on tasks, pay attention, sit still, and control impulsive behavior. While some children exhibit mostly inattentive behaviors and others are predominantly hyperactive, the majority of those with ADHD have a combination of both. This can make it very difficult for them to function in school, and create a lot of conflict at home.

At the Child Mind Institute, we specialize in diagnosing these children and teens and providing them with effective, evidence-based treatments. If you are concerned about your child, please reach out to us today.
