Care and Support Updates

Updates on the latest clinical offerings from our centers in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.

October 13, 2022

Children and teens with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other behavior disorders struggle with symptoms that can lead to conflict with parents, teachers and classmates.

Kids with ADHD struggle to settle down, focus, and follow through on tasks, which makes it very hard for them to do what’s expected of them at school and at home. This can really impact achievement and self-esteem.

Whether we’re helping young people or caregivers (or both), our clinical approach at the Child Mind Institute is to provide strategies to manage behavior disorders effectively.
