We know that for many people, the restrictions and stressors of the coronavirus crisis have made the natural challenges of grieving that much more difficult. Whether or not your loved one passed away due to COVID-19, our team of clinicians is here to support you. Our bereavement group is run by a team of psychologists and provides individuals with a safe, supportive space to process their feelings.

Sessions will cover strategies for coping with difficult emotions, changing unhelpful thought patterns, and engaging in healthy behaviors. The group will also offer participants an opportunity to build social connections and form supportive relationships with others who understand the unique challenges of grieving a loved one at this time.

If you are interested in joining the group or have questions about individual grief counseling for your child(ren), please contact our intake team: appointments@childmind.org or (212) 308-3118
